Been a patient of Dr. White for many years. In my humble opinion, a good Doctor. However, quite frequently I have come away without asking important questions because she has a habit of "scolding" one for not doing something. She may be right sometimes, but then your time is up and you did not get what you went for.In my case an anti-inflammatory for a very painful condition...try to be patient with your Patients, Laurie....

After 35 years as a patient of Dr. White I think she should sell her practice and get a job TEACHING new GPs how to become wonderful doctors. I left Toronto several years ago and have found the GPs I have encountered since to be knee-high to her in terms of competence and helpfulness. And it matters. It is our health that is at issue.

After 25 years, recently she has very abrupt, lacking empathy. I feel upset when I leave an appointment - never, ever thought I would say that about Dr. White.

Laurie has been my doctor since she began her practice. I can't imagine how I could have been more fortunate. I can't imagine anyone more dedicated, more thorough, or more hardworking. To me, she's THE role model for the consummate General Practitioner! (And FYI, I'm a guy.)

Been my doctor for 30 years - always on time, has the time and asks the questions - diagnosed narcolepsy which saved my career..if we had more like her we'd be in great shape

She is current and on top of things. She is sympathetic to your needs and listens to what you have to say. She will send you for routine tests so you can be proactive with your health. That ended up saving my colon.....need I say more.

Dr. White's office never keeps you waiting more than 15 minutes. Scheduling is done well. Dr. White has a friendly style, but can be dismissive and generally not very compassionate or comforting. It feels more like she's processing me rather than caring about me in a holistic way.
