My name is Ainsley Ward and it was 01/16/2011, a time when I was at my lowest that I met Dr.Szabo. My son was a patient at Sick Kids, dire uncertainty of his health prevailed. I passed out at his bedside and was taken to Toronto General where he cared for me. I found him to be extremely caring and emphthetic.He understands the importance of being a human being and the associated frailties, as was in my case. I speak of him to everyone where and when relavent. I highly recommend them to his care.My feeling is that if most doctors were like Dr.Szabo, most patients would enjoy better health because they would feel better about themselves and also have more confidence in doctors. Keep up the good work Dr.Szabo, I shall never forget that warm blanket that you provided me, you are a wonderful person and a great care giver. Keep the torch aglow. “The Pessimist feels bad when he feels good for fear of feeling worst when he feels better”.
