While I find Dr. Morsi to be a competent doctor I have two complaints. Sometimes I have sat in the exam room for over and hour before he finally makes it in to see me. My biggest complaint is that he has been my cardiologist since 2009 and when I called to make an appointment to see him "before I was due" the staff told me I would have to have a referral from my family doctor. Now this makes no sense to me especially since I had been there just a month prior. According to my family physician they do not require a referral unless it has been over a year since you have been in.

My Dad died while Dr. Morsi tried to figure out what was wrong with him. He had triple bypass and a valve replacement 9 months ago, got better then went downhill 3 months ago. Couldn't breathe, had chest pains and pain in joints. Bloodwork showed consistently very low hemoglobin...neither iron or blood was introduced until the day before he died. He was told to take iron pills. Dr Morsi seemed to think he had already had him on them...REALLY? We called the office the morning he died and Dr. Morsi claims he did not have a heart attack. Well who knows! We trusted this Doctor and although he seemed nice there was just too much time between tests and follow up appts. at his office which in turn delayed life saving treatment. My father waited a full 4 weeks after several heart function tests. He was barely getting along in that 4 weeks and could do nothing other than sit in a chair and use the washroom. His appt. finally came, Dr. Morsi said he was at a loss and sent him home...he was found dead on his bedroom floor the next morning. My mother found him and this is a site she will never get out of her mind.

Dr. Morsi I believe is an exceptional Heart Specialist and is a credit to his profession!

This Dr. is the best thing to happen to this area in years.He knows his stuff ,and is entitled to have an EGO the size of Texas, but so down to earth it's unbeleivable. He treat's his patients and co workers like family. Hope they did'nt break the mold, because we need more like him. Yes he saved my life. Thanks Doc
