I've had two appointments with Dr. Tran. First appointment I was told would be a consultation only. After forty five minutes of sitting in the waiting room, I met with Dr. Tran. He was not apologetic for his lateness. If I had been forty five minutes late for my appointment I would probably have to pay for a missed appointment and re-book.After Dr. Tran reviewing by blood work and asking a few questions he asked me to hop on the examining table. I told him his staff advised me this visit was a consultation only. He told me his staff doesn't make those decisions, he does. I told him then I was misinformed.Again he did not apologize. three weeks later his staff contacted me with a appointment date. I had the blood work done the next day. One day before my appointment date, I was contacted by his staff had to be cancelled and re booked for the following week.Upon arrival of my appointment I verified my arrival time with the receptionist was on time.This time I waited fifty minutes then I put my coat on, told the receptionist this was unacceptable and I left.I will not refer Dr. Tran to anyone as it seems he has no respect for other people.

I am a patient of Dr. Tran for several years, has always been understanding, clearly a specialist in his field, two operations have always explain in as much detail about course of treatment. Patient and vrry knowledgeable. I found that once he is examining or doing a procedure he is 100% committed, once examination finish you can have a discussion with. very knowledgeable and understanding.

Excellent uroligist...very competent surgeon...only moderate pain from nephrectomy and 8 days in hosp.Highly recommended.

Very silled. I had two operation: both went well with minimum pain. Dr. Tran explained clearly what the procedures entailed and gave clear explanations for his course of treatments. I appreciated his frankness with sensitivity. Even the matter of punctuality may be a reflection of his sensitivity with the patients he is dealing with.

Does not take time to listen, difficult to ask questions. He has a problem with doctor-patient communication. So it is difficult to build trust when your concerns are not addressed.
